Ok, most people know about the articulation mod, but I thought I would post it anyway.

Articulation Mod

supplies needed:
1. screwdriver
2. needle file
3. flush cutters or equivalent
4. hobby knife

I only have one truck and hit already had the mods on it, so there is only after pics...sorry

1. Remove the rear of the truck and cut the tabs off the wish bone with flush cutters and file down smooth as shown.
Also, cut the edges off the bottom groove thingy as shown in the second pic. Note: do not cut it completely off as then the wish bone will not stay in.

2. Now sand down the inside corners of the wish bone u-joint as shown. Also, sand down (just a little) the center abit.

Just put the truck back together

Front lift mod

This will give you about 1-2 micrometers of lift http://www.smileyvillage.com/smilies/happy0024.gif without buying anything http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w196/2Fast4u_ScionTC/icon10.gif

Supplies needed:
1. screwdriver
2. flush cutters (do not use anything else...no diagonal cutters)
3. hobby knife (optional, but recommended)
4. needle file

1. disassemble the front end and trim down the mounts as shown. Be careful not to trim to far or you will damage the piece...I have circled a crack in the pic.

http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w196/2Fast4u_ScionTC/PICT0031.jpg

2. Now you need to trim your tierod so you can gain some ground clearance. Again, do not cut to far.

3. Now, since you lowered the mounts for the suspension plate, then you need to trim your suspesion plate or it will hit the screws and not screw fully down.

And for the finale...

http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w196/2Fast4u_ScionTC/PICT0043.jpg Again, I don't have a before pic for comparison, but it noticably increases the center ground clearance.
